Windows 10: All at once SOUND says "no audio device installed"

    All at once SOUND says "no audio device installed"


    My win 10 pro, when I type "sound" it says "no audio device installed"
    and my Sony headphones are not working..
    HELP... and thanks..

    Error: "Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it, Error code: 18" with audio drivers on Windows 10

    I am also getting the error! My sound sint working, there is a red X by my sound thing, and when I hover it says NO AUDIO OUT PUT IS INSTALLED. The audio menu says no audio device installed. So I try and update my drivers but it says: "Windows encountered
    a problem installing the drivers" and "Windows found driverse for your device but encountered an eror while trying to install them" And when I go to the properties on my audio driver it says "Error Code 18" PLEASE HELP I need this sound to do homework

    Sound drivers do not reinstall

    I succesfully reinstalled the drivers from ASUS Global, but there's still no sound. Checking with Device Dispatcher had shown that all sound devices such as "Realtek HDA" and "Intel(R) Audio" are marked as not working, and the system say that "the devices
    are not installed (code 45)". Does that mean it has something to do with the laptop's output?
