Windows 10: All microsoft apps and taskbar are no longer working

So it all started when I wanted to reinstall my camera..my camera had a problem were it was only taking 1 second video and doesn't complete till the end. I then followed this answer, I first uninstalled the camera and then couldn't install it again. I tried power shell which hung up for no reason and then I tried the microsoft store which also doesn't want to install the camera app for some reason. when I searched up the problem someone suggested something like the answer above which redownloads microsoft store using power shell. I first tried to reset the store by using wreset.

Windows 10 Taskbar is not working and "fixes" don't fix it.

Provide us the additional information to understand the issue and assist you better:

• What exactly happens when you press Alt+Tab keys from the keyboard to switch between the apps?
• Have you made any changes to the operating system prior to this issue?
• What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue?

As you said Taskbar is not working, and you will minimize all the opened apps to access the one you wish to from Taskbar. Be clear with how exactly you are trying to accessing the apps from Taskbar.

Step 1: I suggest you to check if you have enabled the Auto-hide option for Taskbar, if so try to disable and check if it helps.

Steps to enable auto-hide Taskbar:

• Right click in the empty space on the Taskbar, click on
  Properties,
• Under Taskbar tab, uncheck the Auto-hide the Taskbar option, click on
  Apply and Ok.

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates on your device.

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.

Microsoft Store No Longer Opens


I still have the icon for MS Store in my taskbar, but it no longer works. Clicking on it does nothing. When I click the START button, the MS Store App is grayed out.

Any suggestions on how to get this running again?
