All taskbar icon jump menus do not work after KB4497165, KB4565483, KB4565633, KB4560960.

Whenever I try to use any shortcut in any program on my taskbar, it says "The item you selected is unavailable. It might have been moved, renamed or removed. Do you want to remove it from the list?".

At first I thought it was because I had recently attempted to move my desktop from one drive to another so I did a system restore to a point from a few days earlier and it did end up fixing the issue; however, since the restore undid recent updates I had to reinstall the cumulative updates: KB4497165, KB4565483, KB4565633, KB4560960. After these updates were installed and after the computer restarted, the taskbar jump menus stopped working again so it must be because of these updates. I was able to uninstall KB4497165, KB4565483 and KB4565633 but I was unable to uninstall KB4560960 due to an error. I am also unable to restore to an earlier point anymore as I have apparently depleted the remaining points.

I don't know how to fix the taskbar shortcuts and I cannot find any information anywhere regarding it. Please help.

    :)

  2. Start menu not working after KB4565483 & KB4565633 updates

After the forced install of updates KB4565483 & KB4565633 the computer never fully restarted and remained at a blank screen. After an hour or so of no disk activity, I restarted and it came up, able to login, but now the start menu does not work at all.

Clicking on the Start Button does nothing.

    Windows key does nothing.

Clicking on the Start Bar and tabbing to the Start Button then trying to hit enter or arrow keys does nothing.

This update broke the Start Menu.

I can't even shut down and I was trying to shutdown to move the computer when this absurd "update" was forced upon me.

How do I fix the Start Menu?

    Feature suggestion: Add right-click menu

Suggestion: Please add a Windows 7 Jump-List and/or right-click menu to the GPU-Z icon in the Windows taskbar. Possible menus in it would be "Exit" and "About GPU-Z...".
Maybe also "Switch to tab 1/Switch to tab 2/Switch to videocard 1/Switch to videocard 2" too.
Examples of programs that have such menus are ICQ, Skype, AIM.

NOTE: It seems for a right-click menu, Windows 7 is not needed - it works on WinXP and Vista too.
But even a Windows 7 Jump-list may be good enough.
    What do you think?

KB4560960 and KB4565483 Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller Issues

Following the install of KB4560960 and subsequent reboot, the Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller reports a code 10 in device manager and logs to the system event log:

"Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller : Could not find a network adapter."

I rolled this KB back and all was fine.

Installation of KB4565483 has had the same effect and I have had to roll it back also.

Other recent KB installs have been fine:

    KB4565633

    KB4565554

    KB4497464

Realtek Driver version is 10.38.118.2019 and is WHQL signed

Has anyone else encountered the same issue with either or both of these updates?
