All the external driver or usb connot be shown on win 11

Currently I bought a external ssdNetac zx10 and a usbSandisk for updating the bios for the motherboard, but whenever I plug in the usb or ssd, they do not show up. I've tried all the methods from "uninstall the device in device manager and rescan it" to "go thought the disk management to see if there was any unallocated disk so I can activate it, but I cannot find it on disk management either", they were still not popping up, I can only see it in device manager under the "other divice", it shows their name only but with an error code with itcode 28, There are no compatible drivers for thi

  2. Windows 11 File Explorer not showing external drive

If Windows 11 File Explorer is not showing an external drive that is connected to your device, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check the connection: Make sure that the external drive is properly connected to your device. Try unplugging and replugging the drive, or connecting it to a different USB port.
    2. Check Disk Management: Open Disk Management by pressing Windows key + X, then selecting Disk Management. Look for the external drive in the list of drives. If it appears but has no drive letter assigned, right-click on it and select "Change Drive Letter and Paths". Assign a drive letter to the external drive, and then check if it appears in File Explorer.
    3. Update drivers: Make sure that your device's drivers are up to date, particularly the drivers for your USB ports. Use the Device Manager to check for any outdated or malfunctioning drivers, and update or reinstall them as needed.
    4. Check power supply: If the external drive requires a separate power supply, make sure it is properly connected and functioning.
    5. Test on another device: Try connecting the external drive to another device to see if it appears in File Explorer. This will help determine if the issue is with the drive itself or your device.
By following these steps, you may be able to resolve the issue of Windows 11 File Explorer not showing an external drive.

Toshiba External USB drives not showing in Explorer or Disk Management Plug-in

    Thank you for the update.

Looks like your system is unable to detect your external hard drive. Let's see if scanning for new hardware will fix the issue. Follow these steps:

    • Press the Windows key to launch the Start menu.
    • Type in Device Manager and press Enter.
    • Under Device Manager, select Action tab > Scan for hardware changes.
    • Wait for your system to install the generic driver for your device and follow the on-screen instructions.

If the issue still persists, we suggest that you perform the following recommendations below:

    • Plug in your external USB drives to other USB device port of your system.
    • Use other USB cables for your external device to connect to your system.

Keep us updated and we will be glad to assist you further.
