Windows 10: All windows processes are acting incredibly slow

    All windows processes are acting incredibly slow


    Lately every thing on my pc is running incredibly slow. It takes like 6 hours just for windows to load when im booting and the mouse works just fine but anything i try to open takes also like 30 mins to open do logging in was a problem. Yes i have enough space on my hard drive, no im not running excess background processes, Ive run multiple virus scans with eset internet security windows defender. Im updating my pc with the current setup available but i dont have faith in it. i don't think its a bios problem either so i dont know what exactly to make of it, please help me

    Windows 10 incredibly slow boot times.

    Hi,

    After upgrading from windows 8.1 to windows 10 my computer suffers from incredibly slow boot times.

    It boots to a black screen with white loading circle in the middle, I have timed it and it takes 5 minutes plus to reach the logon screen from the black screen.

    Can anyone suggest what may be the problem?
