Windows 10: Allow printer to print in colour

    Allow printer to print in colour


    I'm trying to print in colour, but it refuses to allow a colour print. In the More Options, Output Options, Colour mode, it won't let me alter it from monochrome. If i select colour, it nopes back to monochrome after i click OK and re-open the window it gave me a 'setting is incompatable' thingy above this box the first time i tried, but not any subsequent attempts.


    In printer properties, general tab, in features, colour is yes, so i should be able to print in colour, right? nope, aparently


    Any way to tell what part of settings i need to treck to to tell my computer that it is allowed to print in colour?

    Colour printing

    My laptop does not allow my printer to print in colour. How can I change this?

    (I had thought I needed a new cartridge, but that is not the case. Printer prints colour from another laptop.)

    Yes, I have that Colour Management tab, and yes, my monitor is listed. I was showing the Printing Preferences boxes, this is the Printer Properties tab.
    How does that help? I can't see anything useful there. Should there be profiles associated with the HP printers showing?
