    • Open Control Panel by clicking the
      Windows + X,

    • In the Control Panel search box, type
Bluetooth, and then click Change Bluetooth settings.

    • In the Bluetooth Settings dialog box, click the
Options tab and do any of the following:

    • To make your computer discoverable to Bluetooth enabled devices, select the check box for
Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer.

    • To allow you to add Bluetooth enabled devices to your computer, select the check box for
Allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer.

  3. "allow this app to make changes to your device" not wokring

Hi Samuel. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.

The main reason User Account Control will not work in an Administrator account is if it's become corrupted.

Test for account corruption by creating a new Local Admin account in Settings > Accounts > Family & Other People > Other, as shown here:

    https://www.isumsoft.com/windows-10/3-ways-to-c...

Sign into the new account, test if the problem persists, if not then move your files over, test that all programs work or else reinstall them, then when ready delete the old account in the same place.

You can then change it to your Microsoft account if desired:

Report back results for each step so I know what else to suggest.

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the results you post back I may have other suggestions if necessary.

  4. "allow this app to make changes to your device" not wokring

Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?

Win 10 Pro. 1709. Logged in as admin. I don't want to shut off UAC completely but that message gets pretty annoying at times. Is the only way to solve this is to use Task Scheduler or a third party app? or is there a setting that I am not aware of that I can just manually white list an app so I do not get that message any more? I'm talking to you VLC Media Player, CrystalDiskInfo, FarStone Image Viewer, Agent Ransack and a whole host of others. It is also not inconceivable that I made a change at some point that is bringing up that annoying message. TIA.
