Windows 10: <also gaming related> I'm not able to change brightness in games properly

I'm the nightmode type of guy that always has screen's brightness set to the minimum. The problem arises in games (not every game, but like tekken 7) , where there is different brightness setting (I can see it changes when I do alt+tab for example). The only way I can try to change it is by using keyboard shortcut Fn+F6, but it changes by 10 and 10 is way to much and 0 is completely black, there's no middle ground. I tried few third-party apps to change brightness but in games it still doesn't matter. How can I force the game to use brightness set while I'm on desktop?

You can install Windows 8/8.1 drivers in compatibility mode from Manufacturer's website, if there are no Windows 10 compatible drivers.

Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode:

• Download the updated driver from the manufacturer’s website.
• Right click the driver installation file and select Properties then tap or click the
  Compatibility tab.
• Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.
  
• Tap the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click
  OK.
• Try installing the driver and check.
