Windows 10: alt-tab problem; clear instructions?

    alt-tab problem; clear instructions?


    My alt-tab function has stopped working. I'm using Windows 10.


    Is there a fix? I see all kinds of advice here and elsewhere, but much of it is old, for other Windows versions, or unclear.


    Is there a definitive fix with clear instructions?

    alt tabbing increases system performance?

    Skyrim doesnt work correctly you alt tab, but if you alt tab to it again while the screen is black, it loads up with the windows cursor over the top. If i repeatedly do this, eventually it fullscreens properly without issues. Slightly weird.

    alt + tab not working

    Just found a really cool way to make alt+tab INSTANT!!!

    In the launch options write the following: -windowed -noborder

    This play exactly the same as fullscreen but now you dont have to wait 30 f*@!ing seconds to alt+tab back in!

    Also you don't get the little purple/black checkered effect (only in Source games) from alt+tabbing in fullscreen.

    alt tabbing increases system performance?

    I stand to be corrected but I've heard that it clears the RAM (or the VRAM I'm not sure).
    Some games don't run well after alt-tabbing though, or crash. Bethesda games in particular.
