I am currently upgrading most of my computer and I am torn between a couple paths for my CPU (and therefore motherboard and RAM) based on my RTX 4070 Super.

I have already decided on the RTX 4070 Super (bought the founder's edition direct from Nvidia) since $600 is about as much as I want to spend on a graphics card right now. RTX 4070 Driver Crashes Every 20 Minutes (Event ID 153)

I'am experiencing frequent driver crashes while gaming on my new Nvidia RTX 4070. The crashes occur approximately every 20 minutes and display the following error message:

"The description for Event ID 153 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. The component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You caninstall or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

\Device\000000ba
Error occurred on GPUID: 100

The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table"

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

Performed a clean installation of the latest Nvidia drivers using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller).
Tested individual components (CPU, RAM) for potential issues.
Replaced the RTX 4070 with my previous RTX 3060 Ti, which resolved the crashes.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

Additional Information:

The crashes only occur with the RTX 4070 installed.
My system is stable and performs well with the RTX 3060 Ti.
