    Dell Inspiron 15R 7520 SE


    CPU: Intel Core i7-3612QM @2.10GHz

    RAM: 2x4GB 8GB total, @1600MHz

    GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000

    GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7730M


    Win version: 20H2 Home build: 19042.685, latest.


    Issues: AMD GPU refuses to accept Windows 10 WHQL drivers i.e. Win10 drivers from Windows Update or the official drivers from amd.com.


    Solutions I tried:


    1. Stopped the install of AMD Display driver from Win Update by using the WUShowhide.diagcab tool download here: How to temporarily prevent a Windows Update from reinstalling in Windows 10 microsoft.com


    2. On previous installations of Windows in particular 1803, 1809, 1903 and 1909, all attempts to use the drivers directly from AMD Support here: AMD Radeon™ HD 7730M Drivers & Support AMD had resulted in the laptop freezing completely.


    The BSODs that most often occurred was a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION or a INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE.


    Yes, I have already run DDU from Guru3D. No, I could not install my drivers because Win10 doesn't like third-party drivers at all.

    Hi,

    In my laptop Dell Inspiron 15R SE 7520 speakers were working fine in Windows 8.1 After upgrading it to Windows 10. It is not working. My system configuration has Skullcandy Speakers with Waves MaxxAudio(R)
    4 processing. Could you please help me to fix this issue in Windows 10.
