Windows 10: AMD HD 7400m black screen after install

Hello!

I have come here out of desperation. So i took out my old laptop HP Probook, 4431s, Base Model, i5 2450m, 8gb ram, intel hd 3000 & amd radeon hd 7400m. I upadated to windows 10 from 7, was working fine until my laptop updated windows 10, then all the issues started. 1st while restarting my computer, the boot was stuck on spinning dots (frozen), took me 1 month to figure out it was the graphics issue. Since then i have clean installed windows 7 and 10 and still whenever i install the intel/amd drivers, the screen freezes to black. Right now i am on windows 10 and still when ever i try to install the drivers the screen freezes to black. HP does not have drivers for widows 10 for this laptop (as this is old), i tried installing the original drivers by compatibility mode still not happening, tried unfl drivers still not happening, sometimes the driver is installed but ccc says no drivers, this is messed up, i cant play games anymore, please help me figure it out, really would love to see it get fixed.

AMD Radeon HD 7400M will not play video on Windows 10

I have a Sony Vaio that contains an AMD HD 7400M Series graphics chip.

Since upgrading to Windows 10, I am unable to play videos on Windows Media Player (only the sound is heard) and neither Edge nor IE11 will play any HTML5 video (decoding errors reported).

I removed the AMD drivers, and went with the basic Windows driver, and the video works again. But of course these drivers are very poor, and do not detect my main screen and the resolution is awful, so they cannot be used.

So I ran the Windows update utility and installed the device drivers that it advised me to. These are also AMD drivers for the 7400M and have the same issue of no video playing.

1. Is there any way I can get these drivers to work with Windows 10?

2. Are there any OTHER drivers that might work and give me good screen resolution and detect my main screen?

3. Why on earth would Window's own update utility suggest installing drivers that do not work?

AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series doesn't work properly in Windows 10

Booting my Vostro 3350 with a AMD Radeon 7400M card lasts about 2 minutes (black screen). Is there a new Windows 10 driver available for this card?

I have a Samson laptop NP700Z5B-S01UB.

The Radeon 7400M driver (version 15.201.1151.1008) is coupled with an Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000.

The Intel driver version is 9.17.10.4101.

My Processor is an Intel Core i7-2675 QM CPU @ 2.20 GHz

64-bit operating system, 8 GB Ram installed

I've tried numerous reboots deleting the AMD driver that worked briefly. But when the AMD driver finally installed, my display went from HD to black screen and my computer shut down. I had to disable the AMD driver so I could use my computer.
