    Microsoft Windows 10 Update for AMD Radeon HD 6620G does NOT WORK!!

    Today (8/21/2015) Microsoft Windows 10 Downloaded a Update for AMD Radeon HD 6620G. Driver 15.200.1062.1004 dated 8/3/2015. It does not work for my APU A8-3500M. All the Windows 10 "Get Started" videos will not play. Web streaming videos are GREEN SCREEN.
    Even the AMD web site states APU A8-3500M does not meet Windows 10 requirements therefore driver revision 15.7 is not for my computer (HP Pavilion dv6). The only drivers that work for ALL videos is AMD Catalyst 15.6 BETA for Win 8.1. That installs AMD driver
    14.502.1014.1001. Each time Microsoft downloads updated drivers I have to reinstall driver 14.502.1014.1001.

    PLEASE MICROSOFT STOP INSTALLING DRIVERS THAT DO NOT WORK FOR MY APU!!!!!!!!!!!

    AMD Windows 10 Drivers for Radeon HD 6620G DON'T Work for APU A8-3500M

    Microsoft and AMD stop updating Display Drivers for APU A8-3500M with Radeon HD 6620G. They do not work. The driver that does not work is revision 15.200.1062.1004. Web streaming is green screen and the Windows 10 "Getting Started" videos fail.....
    Each time you update the driver I have to roll back to driver revision 14.502.1014.1001. With this driver everything works...


    So Microsoft and AMD stop downloading drivers that do not work....

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



    As per the device manufacturer’s support site, the graphics card is not designed to support Windows 10, the drivers for ATI Radeon HD 3450 graphics card are available only up to Windows 8, you can try with installing
    AMD Catalyst software Suite for Windows 8/8.1 in compatibility
    mode and see if it helps.



    • Right click the applications installation file (exe), select
      Properties andgo toCompatibility
      Tab.
    • Select the appropriate options from the list.
    • Click Apply/OK.
    • Right Click the file and select the
      Run as administrator option to install.


    I also suggest to check in device manager if the PC has integrated graphics or get in touch with the device manufacturer to check the same. You can also get the complete device specifications by entering the System Service tag
