AMD Ryzen or AMD Ryzen Threadripper configured in SATA or NVMe RAID mode.

I'm attempting to install the Version 1909 update on Windows 10 Home but have been unable to do to an apparent incompatibility with AMD Ryzen CPU drivers. The issue with this is that my computer has an Intel CPU and
an Nvidia GPU, with no AMD software or hardware installed at all.

The specific message I get, under a banner saying "What needs your attention" is:

"AMD Ryzen or AMD Ryzen Threadripper configured in SATA or NVMe RAID mode.

A Driver is installed that causes stability problems on Windows. This driver will be disabled. Check with your software/driver provider for an updated version that runs on this version of Windows."

I do have an NVMe 1 Gig Drive in the machine. Any help would be appreciated.

The issue is likely caused by storage driver for the internal SSD is using AMD SATA/RAID drivers. You can confirm by opening Device Manager and going to Storage controllers.

I tried to do a repair installation using the MediaCreationTool. It failed before step 8 (from

this tutorial) by displaying the usual message "AMD Ryzen™ or AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ configured in SATA or NVMe RAID mode...".

Is there something I misunderstood?

Should I do a clean installation instead?

By the way, your first topic is very relevant to me, as my PC got assembled by the same company ("LDLC" in France).
