    When does install.esd appear? I'm done downloading now in the Preparing to install updates phase.

    Edit: Found one here: C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\af2ad098ac43835228a4385a96425ded\10525.0.150812-1658.th2_release_CLIENTPRO_RET_x64fre_en-us.esd

    but it doesn't show in File Explorer.

    I was under impression that insider previews and/or builds should fix more than break? My Event Log went from couple of entries at boot to like 5x more... and I'm on the fast ring. Okay, I am aware that this is a preview build, but seriously?

    it's a hidden system file and may have been deleted after the Windows.BT / WS folder was created

    Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10525

    If you go into Advanced options you are able to switch to the Fast ring. I did this on my laptop and it is already running 10525.

    Yeah, the 64bit version of Chrome seems to have major issues with this build... The 32bit version works fine *Huh
