Windows 10: annoying popup

I have an annoying popup that flashes onto my screen warning of some program failure or something but before I can read it, it's gone and comes back every minute or so and has progressively become faster and faster.

I would give the other 3 options mentioned in the first guide:

• STEP 3: Use HitmanPro to scan for malware and unwanted programs
• (Optional) STEP 4: Reset the browser settings to their original defaults
• (Optional) STEP 5: Double-check for malicious programs with Zemana AntiMalware

And I would start with Step 4, resetting your browser

1. You said " Recently......".
If so, do a system restore. Pick a date when you did not have this auto popup as your restore point.

2. Run a system file check for corrupt files.
Enter sfc /scannow in Command Prompt (Admin)
