Windows 10: Anti-Aliasing video to Nearest Neighbor interpolation if the content size is too small than...

Hello! My GPU uses Anti-Aliasing video when the content size is too small than the video plays. Is there a method to get Nearest Neighbor interpolation when the content size is too small than the video using my GPU Intel UHD Graphics 630.

Can I use nearest-neighbor scaling with Intel Iris and Windows 10 on a MacBook Pro?

If I were to dual-boot Windows 10 on a 15" Retina MacBook Pro, would I be able to change the screen resolution and use nearest-neighbor scaling?

The 15" rMBP has a 2880x1800 screen and I'd like for the resolution to be 1440x900 (perfect 4-to-1 pixel scaling) and not blurry at all. The blur is caused by bilinear interpolation, so using nearest-neighbor scaling instead would eliminate it. I've read that this isn't possible with nVidia but might be with Intel.

Is this possible through something like an Intel control panel?

 

How can I force font anti-aliasing globally?

Hi, I'm Korean.



Latin fonts has embeded bitmap and so looks good in small size(As you know, system disable anti-aliasing when font size is small). However, official fonts for Korean and Japanese has no embeded bitmap and looks v-e-r-y ugly. Look this.







Therefore I used FontRouter to force system using font anti-aliasing every size. But FontRouter crashes texts of application based on Qt (Only Qt...). So I'm searching another solution.

 

Anti-aliasing in games and its relation with VRAM

Anti-aliasing is more GPU intensive. The GPU has to process the edges of a vector in relation to its neighboring pixels. The more that is on the screen and the more the image changes, the more it has to calculate.

When it comes to AA, try different settings. While the game might offer 16x AA or 8x, you might not see a difference visually from 2x or 4x.
