Hey there guys, so recently i had a decent upgrade from i5-7200U, HD 620, 8gb DDR3 Ram and a 1 TB HDD to a new laptop with i7-9750H, GTX 1650 4GB, 16 GB DDR4 Ram and a 1 tb ssd and to say a few words damn it feels nice. So i have always have had a habit of been super anxious and overthinking everything and well the new laptop leads to me having issues lmao. So im somewhat good with tech so i know how everything works and should act so I did a stress test on the laptop for a little while and here are my results:

    Main GPU (1650) Max tem at 99 percent usage = 75 c

Cpu max temp at 99 percent usage = 95 c

So as far as I know, 75 c is ok for the gpu (correct me if I am wrong) but the cpu seems a bit high and i dont know what i should do about it.

Before at idle my cpu was at 65 c which is bad bad so i watched a window optimisation video and after it it had dropped down considerably to 35-40ish which i felt a bit better about, however, im still not sure if this good or not at idle. Also, through monitoring software, i have noticed that the cpu fluctuates a lot in terms of speed so it would jump from 890mhx to 3990 and back down and in about 10 seconds this would happen 4-5 times. Could anyone let me know if this is a problem and if so how i can fix it? thanks very much in advance!

Also any other optimisation tips are very very welcome!

  2. Kreij Win User

Current active users that are friends

The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.

  3. Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
    Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

    1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
    2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
    3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.
    Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
    3. Select add someone else on this PC.
    4. Enter a user name and hit next.
    5. Click on Finish.
    6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

Removing a "hidden" user and user files

Thanks for your patience. I was able with "Net User" to remove the left over user. It no longer appears when I invoke Net User.

Now for the user's folder which remains behind. After performing the series of steps that you suggested, I attempted to delete this folder. The result again was an error message about permission

"Administrators" appears on the list in the list of advanced security.
