Windows 10: ANy chance to install Win 10 on external hard drive

Discus and support ANy chance to install Win 10 on external hard drive in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; The usb version will automatically activate on same pc, but not if being used on another.     That's what I was thinking. My attempts at rolling my own Pro WTG all failed for one reason or another. So I've only ever run the official setup. I have a nice fast Kingston Hyper X 64 gig thumb drive, but its not a certified drive. The WTG Utility won't use it. Anyway, not going to go into what I tried etc. That's for another thread. Just didn't work out for me on that thumb drive.

    wintousb (not wtg) works on any flash drive with enough capacity and can even do uefi installs now.
