Windows 10: Any Cumulative Updates for Win 10 Version 1909 this year?

Has been a while since the last Version of Win 10 came up, but there has not been any new Updates? Are we going to get one before the end of the year?


Judging by the number of posts on the Community website, it would appear that the majority of members running Win 10 Version 1909 are happy with this Version compared with Version 1903; so Microsoft must be doing something brilliant in the very hard work they do to get things right. We owe MS a lot in making sure the million of people, with us included, enjoy running Windows 24/7 without any problem?

Windows Updates Cumulative Update version 1903 and the Featured Update version 1909 both fail

I have tried to install both the Cumulative Update version 1903 and the Featured Update version 1909 and when they hit the 100% mark I get a message in install failed and the changes are being undone. After doing this the first time my printer does not
work and I've deleted it and reloaded and it still doesn't work.

I have tried six times to do the updates without success. When I view the update history it says the Featured Update version 1909 failed on 11/18/2019 and the Cumulative Update version 1903 was successfull on 11/18/2009. It than says the Featured
Update version 1909 was successfully updated on 11/18/2019 followed by the Cumulative Update version 1903 failed on 11/23/2009.

During the check for updates it continually loads the the Cumulative
Update version 1903.

When I look at the OS Build it shows Version 1903 installed on 10/12/2019 OS Build 18362.449

So, how do I get these updates to install or allow updates for everything else except Windows updates?

Plus get my printer to be recognized, I can still print documents using email.

 

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 2-Year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

A restart like a cumulative update would be required for installing 1909. Yes the ISO would be released for reinstall-however it would not before the release hits public.

As it is not a feature update, I doubt if the user can delay the update like those.
