Windows 10: Any easy way to manage and create preview handlers?

For example, I'm using firefox as my default pdf reader, but doing so preview panel doesn't work.

Another example: dwg files could open with my cad program, but preview only works with other cad vendors.

I know these are more like rough edges in the products than a windows issue, but one of windows strengths is having solutions galore. Is there something I could use for making preview panel work for the files?

Preview Handler in C# Winforms

Recently, I have been trying to show a preview for .html, .txt, and .jpg files in my winforms application. I have found the Registry entries under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\PreviewHandlers. The Windows TXT Previewer
and Microsoft Windows Mail HTML Preview Handler are located here. When I try to load them into my application with the correct file format, the window shows nothing although I used the correct GUID for the Preview Handlers. My question is, how do I correctly
show the preview handlers with file content in my C# application?

error with the Windows Media Player Rich Preview Handler. To know how to create a new user account, follow these steps:

• Right click the Windows logo (Start button).
• Choose Command Prompt (Admin).
• In the command prompt window, type net user [username] /add, and then press Enter.
  
• In the command prompt window again, type net localgroup administrators
  [username] /add, and then press Enter.
• Sign out to your current user account, and then sign in to the new account.

After performing the steps above, check if you'll encounter the issue when using the new account.

Preview pane doesn't work in Windows 10

1. Are you facing issue with all your files or any particular files?
   
2. Which version of Windows you are using?
   
3. Since when are you facing this issue?
   

The Preview pane shows the contents of certain files selected in File Explorer. For images, it is a thumbnail preview.

If you are unable to preview in File explorer, I suggest you to try the below steps.

1. Open a new File Explorer window and click the View tab from the ribbon toolbar.
   
2. Click Options, and then click Change folder and search options to open Folder Options dialog.
   
3. Check the Show preview handlers in preview pane box, and click/tap on OK.​
