    Any idea how to install Fonts in an Unlicensed Windows 10?


    Hi,

    I am using an unlicensed Windows 10 and I am not interested in paying for it. Mainly because I use Ubuntu as my daily driver and only need this to run the Adobe Creativity Suite.

    I am currently stuck on an illustrator project and need a specific font to be installed to finish it off. Windows doesn't allows to do so.

    Does anyone has any idea on how to install fonts or install TTF on Windows?

    Note : By unlicensed I mean a Windows 10 which had not been activated. It allows you to use Windows 10 as normal but no customization is allowed. That includes changing of wallpaper, fonts, colour accents and so on.

    Hi,

    There are several reasons why Windows 10 is blocking this font to be installed. One is if the font is not supported. You mentioned that you tried to install this in other Windows 10 PCs, did it work? We'd like to know more about your issue. Please answer
    the following questions:

    • What is the application that you installed that needed the font?
    • What is the font's name?
    • What is the error when you're installing the software?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    I suggest you to follow the instruction provided below and check.

    Step 1:

    • Download the font type you want to install.
    • Right click and click on install.
    • Check if you are able to view the fonts in documents.
    Or

    Step 2:

    • Download the font type you want to install.
    • Open Control Panel.
    • Click on fonts.
    • Now, drag and drop the downloaded fonts in the font’s folder.
