    Hey All,

I've had dark mode on my laptop for some time now. I know in the settings you can change the theme to "Dark" and I've had that on both my personal laptop and work machine for a while now. However I've also had the functionality to have dark mode in my file browser for about a month and half on my laptop.

My work desktop is still on 1803 and regardless of how many times the update notes say "Dark Mode" I still can't change my file explorer windows to dark. My laptop is on 1809 and the only reason I can think of that the two aren't on the same version of windows is that one is Pro and one is Home.

Can anyone shed any light on this? I've been getting steady update notifications and have been updating my machine regularly but the work desktop still won't go to 1809.

    Thanks,

    T.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
