any observable difference between 1080 and 4k?

Thinking if I should get a 4K monitor for home use.
Yes, I like watching videos, but I don't know if
4k will give an observable difference from 1080 ?

I understand there must be difference, but is the difference significant ?

For example, I don't notice any serious difference between 720p and 1080p videos with my 1080 screen

    :)

    4K and 1080 Monitors problem...

I have had different monitor resolutions before, until I got my 4k monitor, I had a 1080 monitor and a 1280 x 1024 monitor with no problems at all.

I think the the problem lies with the changing the size of text, apps and other items to 150% on the 4k, and 100% on the 1080, as when both set to 100% it works fine (but then on the 4k monitor the text is too small to read comfortably).

It weird as some apps appear fine on the 1080, but most are blurred.

Oh well just something to put up with I suppose.

    4K and 1080 Monitors problem...

I purchased a 4K monitor and also have a 1080 monitor on my system.

I have set the size of text, apps and other items in the Display options on the 4k monitor at 150% so its readable, at 100% the text is very small.

I have set the 1080 monitor at 100%.

The problem is when the 4K monitor is set to 150%, and the 1080 monitor to 100%, anything on the 1080 monitor looks a little blurred. The size of the text etc is the same as normal, just blurred.

Now when I set the 4K monitor too 100% and the 1080 monitor to 100%, anything on the 1080 monitor looks fine and sharp.

Has anyone else had this problem? if so how did the resolve the issue?

Thanks in advance any observable difference between 1080 and 4k? :)

    Does Miracast support 4K?

    Hello,

We suggest that you check with the manufacturer of the 4k display device that you are using if it is certified to work with Miracast. If your display device is certified to work with Miracast, then check if your PC device supports Miracast. You may do so
    by following the steps below:

    • Click Start, then go to Settings >
      Projecting to this PC
      .
    • Check if your device supports Miracast.
