It does make you wonder. I will always be pro windows over Apple but I really don't like the direction ms is headed. My iMac gives me far less hassle than windows 10 that's for sure

Yes. 10 seconds on Google would confirm that (insert "derr" icon). If you mean do they never make a mistake, then no. ISO9000 doesn't guarantee quality - it is only covers internal processes.

Hassle? How is a typo on Reliability History a hassle?

Save your ire for something better than a simple mistake.

Tell me about it. I spent a day and a half to get Windows 10 and Office 2013 installed on a desktop unit for our home office, so that my wife could use it for work purposes.

I have only had to reinstall Mac OS once when I did the first install of 11 beta. After that and the fix right after, no problems whatsoever, besides a glitch with Mac OS not seeing the network printer, which was taken care of by just downloading to a pdf on Chrome and then print it out. Now that problem with Mac OS is gone for the printer, no new issues have cropped up. Unlike Windows, you end up spending three days of having to reinstall everything because of their mess.

Hmmm. While I agree with you about clean installs, TBH I think both companies are pretty similarly bad. My 2013 MBP has terrible trouble with Wi-Fi dropping when running MacOS while it has always been fine when running Windows on the same machine. Conversely it will simply not recognize some USB3 drives under Windows 10 that work fine on MacOS (or Windows 7)

In the last 5 years neither company has fixed either problem both of which are pretty fundamental and widely reported. Neither problem happens when I run Linux (on the same hardware) but honestly I don't have the desire to do that as then I can't run any of the programs I want.
