Anyone else notice TeamViewer getting increasingly flakier?

I've been using TeamViewer (TV) since v4. At the time I convinced my IT management to license it for us to use against more than 6,000 corporate desktops.

Fast forward to now... many, many years on and I'm now retired. I've still been using TeamViewer with just family and friends and TV has continued to be a godsend.

Of late, its behaviour has changed. All of a sudden I'm chucked out of TV sessions with no warning then presented with the offer to purchase for non-personal use. What the heck? My external IP hasn't changed at all and I'm still only supporting family and friends for very occasional remote access use.

    Anyone else notice this behaviour?

    :)

    Teamviewer

Recently Teamviewer stopped working for me. I get a pop up that says "Not ready. Check your connections". My remote users get the same message when they try to activate Teamviewer for me to connect.

I am online and Internet connected when I try to use Teamviewer, so I don't really understand the problem.

Any suggestions would be most welcomed.

    Thanks,

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Teamviewer Alternative: Ultraviewer

Not sure if anyone is familiar with this one but at work we use Solarwinds Dameware for a LOT of the work we do. For external support we utilize TeamViewer. I believe we share 3 licenses that can be active at a single time. For personal use i also use Teamviewer as well since its very very convenient.

As to the software suggested i rather test it in a Sandbox Environment before i even think of installing on a PC.
