    Snap Assist

    Hi Cory,

The Snap Assist allows you to juggle apps, arrange open windows, resize windows by simply dragging and dropping them to the edges of the screen. If you don't want to get a quarter screen snap, you can change the settings of Snap Assist by follow the steps below:

    • Open the Settings app
    • Click System.
    • Click Multitasking.
    • You can turn off some of the option of Snap Assist on this window.

If you want to disable Snap Assist, you can turn off Arrange windows automatically by dragging them to the sides or corners of the screen.

Should you have further queries, feel free to post it.

Windows 10 Snap Assist Not Working Properly

I'm running Windows 10 with the latest updates. The Snap Assist multitasking features are a bit dodgy. The issues appear intermittently, and are as follows:

    • When I snap a window, Snap Assist does not show me what I can snap next to it. This is despite me having several other apps open, and the relevant option ticked in the 'MULTITASKING' part of system settings.
    • When I show two windows side by side (one window snapped to the left side of the screen, a second window snapped to the right side), the central divider that can be moved to adjust both windows simultaneously does not appear.
I have tried resizing, re-snapping and moving the windows to no avail. The divider does not appear, and the windows have to be adjusted individually.

These are the settings I'm using.
