  2. PDF Reader for Windows 10

Well, I would suggest a lightweight free PDF reader,

PDF Reader for Windows 10 - An alternative to Windows 10 PDF Reader

Free as it is, the above PDF Reader is a native Windows application, as an alternative to Windows PDF Reader, which is a MetroUI app.

  3. Unable to open the.PDF files after upgrading to Windows 10.

    Hello,

You'll need to download a PDF application.

A very good lightweight one I can reccomend is:

Free PDF Reader - Sumatra PDF

Although you can also go with ones like Adobe Reader

It's possible that your old PDF reader did not upgrade correctly along side windows 7.

    Hope this helps,

    Sam
