Windows 10: aol and microsoft 10 - can't sync

My wife and I both still use AOL, and she has her email account on our Microsoft computer, but I cannot sync my account. I have deleted my account off and added it back on, checked and rechecked my password, and restarted the computer. The computer tells me that it is having difficulty logging into my account, and to update the password. I enter the same password that works on both my phone and the AOL website, but the issue persists. Help!

• Are you referring to Windows 10 Mail App?
• If yes, then is that an additional account?

If your AOL is an additional account in Windows 10 Mail App, then I suggest you to remove the account and reconfigure it and check the behavior. And if your AOL is primary a account, please get back to us for further assistance.

• Which browser are you currently using to access AOL?
• Did you try downloading AOL app from Windows Store and check if you are facing similar issues?

Check if similar issue persists on accessing AOL on another browser. If the issue persists, I suggest you to download AOL app from Windows Store and check if it helps.



To download AOL app from Windows Store, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows logo key on the keyboard, type
  Store and select the top most search result.
• Type AOL in the search box located at the top right corner of the screen and press
  Enter key on the keyboard.
• Download the app and check if similar issue persists.

Windows 8.1 - lost AOL syncing and also Microsoft Account mail syncing

Thank you. I haven't yet undertaken your suggestions since meanwhile I opened another AOL account on the phone and now my AOL emails are syncing ok. I am not sure whether the AOL emails should also be syncing via the MIcrosoft account. They are not. The
only synced emails in the Microsoft account are a few from when I used an @outlook.com alias. I have since deleted that alias since my cyberlife (and phone) were getting overcomplicated. It is why I have not tried to tackle my phone again. Too much time for
too little gain! Thank you again nonetheless.
