Windows 10: Apostrophe key broken, only produces a minus symbol - from the NUMPAD not the normal...

Hi everyone, Im really hoping someone can help me with this - its been an issue for as long as I can remember but have never been able to crack Ive been copy and pasting quotes for a while now!.When I type an apostrophe, or a quote using shift, it instead types a minus symbol. I know it is specifically the minus symbol from the numpad because I used an online keyboard test to see which keys are being pressed see screenshot. My normal dash/underscore key works perfectly fine. The symbol made by my apostrophe key isnt an accent symbol or something to do with language I believe, since its nev

Calculator: Numpad Minus key no longer recognized as Substraction

Hello

French keyboard here,

Before some update few weeks ago, the minus - key on my numpad would just make the susbstract operation

Like if I wanted to do:

8 - 1 =

I would type on my numpad the keys: 8, minus, 1, enter.

Now, for some reason, the minus key just convert to a negative number!

When I type : 8, minus, 1, enter, but it does :

8 + minus --> -8 + 1 --> -81

If I want to make a substraction, I have to use the keyboard minus key (key 6 on a french keyboard).

This is dumb.

Please how do I correct this? Does anyone have an idea.

How to get Plus Minus Expander Symbols

The following image was posted on Reddit (i.e. it's not my computer). Note the plus and minus symbols in the Navigation pane. Normally they're tail-less arrows. Anyone seen this before?

 

Apostrophe Key Types In Different Letters

Hey there! I recently got a new pc and keyboard but for some reason mu apostrophe key has been acting weird recently. Whenever I press the key it pauses for a moment and types in random letters and symbols. Then it'll mess with everything like moving a place that was typing in and selecting all of the text. Which leads to me accidentally deleting my progress and its very irritating. Normally it types in ?):> p;

At first I thought it was my keyboard but I looked into the software and nothing was wrong. So i pressed all of the keys to see which one it is and it only the apostrophe key that causes problems. The other day I noticed something. I was logging into my computer and I accidentally pressed the apostrophe key and the apostrophe popped up like normal. I thought it fixed itself but once I went to type something with an apostrophe it went back to being problematic

Ive searched anything I could find to fix it. Ive went into windows settings in all the youtube videos Ive watched and nothing has worked. Its gotten out of hand since I do enjoy writing and code on toyhouse in my free time occasionally.

I just would like for it to be solved if anyone can please help
