Windows 10: app double up

My daughter has a secondary account on our home pc & obviously she wants her own apps. Why is it that some of her software's show up on the desktop of my account & if I send them to the recycle bin, hers goes there too. Apps like Minecraft and Steam among others.

How do I separate from the two accounts & not have one affect the other. Not all apps do this.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

double post (sorry) but another good way is to sort it by FSB, so that people can look to the top of the list to see the best OC'er in each category.


possibly sort it out by core type as well?

its an idea, but the list is somewhat short at the moment so it may be pointless til it gets bigger.

 

Windows 10 mail app - double click to open

Hi.

Recently I tried Windows 10 built-in mail app.

I'm looking for two options:

• Double clicking on an email will open it in a new window (currently double click hide/unhide the email in preview pane)
• Hiding email preview pane permanently
