  1. App Permissions issue

First things first, I don't know if this is the right place to put this because this is kind of an issue on both sides, those sides being Windows 10 and Minecraft Windows 10 Editon, so I'm most likely gonna post this on r/Minecraft afterwards.

Here's the story, just today, I was playing Minecraft Win10 edition and I tried turning the microphone from the Game Bar, only to find it was disabled. When I tried to enable it, I couldn't, instead I got a message saying that my privacy settings were blocking the microphone. I went into my privacy settings and tried to enable it, but it was already enabled. I even checked the list of apps that had the mic enabled, which there were only a few. Games mostly, CS:GO, TF2, etc. But for some reason when I try to turn on the microphone while playing Minecraft, it wont let me despite the fact its generally enabled for most other apps. So I searched around on the internet for a bit, trying to find an answer as to why I couldn't use the mic, and each time I kept getting led to the same speal about making sure privacy settings are set up correctly, or even going into app permissions and enabling the mic from there.
This is where my main issue comes in. I tried looking at the app permissions on Minecraft only to find out they basically don't exist. I went into App Settings for MC Windows10, but there wasn't an actual list of permissions like most other apps, instead there was only one, labeled: "Background Apps".

So here's the question I came here to ask: Why doesn't Minecraft have any other App Permissions besides "Background Apps"?
I really wanna record videos with mic audio but I can't so I would really appreciate any help anyone might have to explain why this is the case and maybe offer a safe, alternative solution instead of recording mic audio using the Game Bar.

    Permission issue

Presumably because TrustedInstaller is the owner (hence you need its permission), suggesting that img3.jpg was installed by Windows at some time.

Presumably that also means it can be uninstalled. How did you get it in the first place? Where is it located?

If you really want to delete it yourself, then taking ownership would seem a logical first step.

    App Permissions

    Hi Tony,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Some apps require certain permissions to work properly. However, you can change the permissions given to the apps by following the below steps:

    1. Click on Start.
    2. Click on Settings and then click on Privacy.
    3. Under the App Permissions you can change the permissions which are assigned for the apps.

However, you can go through the
    Microsoft Privacy Statement
    .

    Hope it helps.
