  1. App Posta - Mail App - Windows 10 - sent mail goes to spam

    Hi all,

every time I send an email with the app Mail for Windows 10 the email goes automatically into the spam folder of my gmail account. This was not the case in the past. Recently I have contacted your chat support and your agent solved the problem by updating the version of Windows 10 to the latest beta version. Nevertheless after a few days the issue has returned and now it is occurring again.

    Could anyone please help me?

    Thank you and best regards

    Hi Gabriele,

Thanks for reaching out! I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you.

Lets try this steps to troubleshoot the issue.

Method 1 : Reset Mail App.

    - On your search Tab type App & Features and open it.

    - Under Apps and Features look for Mail and Calendar

    - Click it and open Advance option

    - Look for the Reset option.

Method 2: Run SFC or DISM Scan

    To run DISM

    - Open Start, type: CMD

    - Right click CMD

    - Click Run as administrator

Type in at the prompt OR Copy and Paste these one at a time : (Hit enter after each)

    - Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    - Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    - Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    To run SFC

    - Open Start, type: CMD

    - Right click CMD

    - Click Run as administrator

    - At the Command Prompt, type: sfc/scannow

    Method 3:

I would suggest you to temporarily disable the antivirus security software program installed on your computer and check if that helps.

Disclaimer: Antivirus software helps protecting your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software and\or troubleshoot any pertinent
issue, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you are connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to malware attacks.

We can try to reinstall your mail app. You can follow this steps to do it.

    - Launch PowerShell as administrator. To do so, type PowerShell in Start Menu or taskbar Search Box. Right-click on PowerShell and then click “Run as administrator” option.

    - Click “Yes” when you User Account Control prompt appears.

    - In the elevated PowerShell prompt, type the following command and press Enter.

    Get-AppxPackage –AllUsers

    - Scroll down and look for an entity named “microsoft.windowscommunicationapps”

Copy of the PackageFullName of the app as shown in the picture below. Note that

after selecting the PackageFullName to copy the same.

    - Execute the command to uninstall. "Remove-AppxPackage PackageFullName"

    - In the above command, replace PackageFullName with the PackageFullName of the

    app that you copied.

    - Hit Enter to execute the command. The App with take a couple of minutes to

    uninstall.

    - The Mail App will now be completely uninstalled. If you have an icon pinned to the

    taskbar, it will automatically disappear.

    - Once the App has been uninstalled completely, reboot your system.

    - Now, launch the Store App. It can be found in the Start menu or through Search Box.

Once the Store App has launched. Type Mail and Calendar in the search bar and

    Click on “Mail and Calendar”.

    - Click Install button to install the Mail App.

    Hope it helps.

App Posta - Mail App - Windows 10 - sent mail goes to spam

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. App Posta - Mail App - Windows 10 - sent mail goes to spam :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
