Windows 10: AppHangB1

Hello, can someone help me out, my After Effects keeps crashing about 30 seconds after I open up a project file.

I am using windows 10.

Windows Explorer freeze/crash (AppHangB1)

To troubleshoot the error AppHangB1 that you're getting, kindly follow the steps provided by Jayant Gupta on this

link and see if it resolves your concern. The steps may refer to Windows 7 but they are also applicable for Windows 10.

AppHangB1 explorer.exe crashes several times per day


This problem has occurred mostly since 6/20. 2-4 times per day. I cannot identify anything in particular that I am doing when the crash occurs. Has happened when switching apps with taskbar and after login (after I have stepped away for a while)

I can restart explorer and go on with my day until the next one. Details on each crash are identical.

Win10/7 Help with crashes: RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64, AppHangB1 and APPCRASH

Hi. So I built this PC relatively recently and from the start it has had this issue and I am running out of loose ends to investigate. I will list specifications at the end as well as pasting one example of each of the errors. I don't know everything but
I have a computing degree so please feel free to talk technical - I will understand.

What happens:

This PC ran the new Star Wars: Battlefront beta on ultra for an entire day without a single crash, but if I run certain things it will reliably last less than 10 minutes. Having a livestream open or certain games (more often isometric ones) will always end
in a crash after a while.

The PC simply freezes. Sound stops and the screen becomes unresponsive. The only option is a hard restart.

What I have tried:

Reinstalling certain games has no effect.

Drivers are up to date and cleanly reinstalled several times.

I have no viruses, and this device has only ever had Norton which has not caused a problem on previous machines.

Memory diagnostics found no errors.

SFC /Scannow found no errors.

DISM.exe found no errors. (had a "MoAppHang" too, which lead to that)

People have suggested that it is because I have AMD mobo and cpu with Nvidia gpu. How likely is that the cause and what can I do?

At present I am trying with different startup services and processes turned off (I know I should have done this sooner). If this doesn't help then the only options I know left are fixing the registry, reinstalling Windows, and replacing hardware. Any advice
for those or new suggestions would be appreciated, thank you.

Windows 10 Build 10240 (Also suffered on Windows 7 before the upgrade).

Processor: AMD FX-9590 8core ~4.7GHz (has a pretty big heat sink stuck to it).

Motherboard: MSI 970.

HD: Kingston SSD V300 240GB.

Video Card: Zotac Nvidia GTX 980Ti.

RAM: 2x 8GB DDR3 HyperX.

PSU: 1KW EVGA Supernova (Gold PSU).

Sound: Plantronics GameCom 780, Realtek HD audio and Nvidia HD audio are running (probably irrelevant).

edit: Some of these are more common than others but one or more of them occurs whenever there is a crash.
