Windows 10: Application Crash To Desktop

On Windows 10, with devices using touch screens, we have observed our application crashing to desktop, when debugging no error is visible in visual studio. The application is written in PowerBuilder 10 calling into .Net framework code. I can reliably reproduce the crash by left clicking my mouse in a text box on a PowerBuilder UI multiple times in rapid succession.


We have also observed that disabling the 'Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service' TabletInputService seems to make the problem go away although this is not a viable solution for an application distributed to any significant volume of machines.


Can you please provide all technical documentation you have on this service, the more detail the better.

I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?

Desktop Computer Crashes

Hi Sumit,

My new HP desktop computer still crashes. I tried following the steps in the link above, How to do a Disk check of System drive in Windows 10 and interpret the logs - Your Windows Guide...

I am not able to complete or follow the task required to allow you to see what happened with the computer crash. I need an easier step such as a 1 2 3 or and a b c, to-do list in order for me to let you see my System logs.
