Windows 10: "application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware"

hi guys,

im having some issues when running a game (not through the internet website, through the downloaded launcher for it) sometimes it will crash and say: "application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware" and the games graphics will freeze. ive redownloaded the game launcher and ive tried to update the graphics card but it says that its already up to date so im not sure how to fix it. the drivers say 2015 but i cant find if there are any drivers more recent than that, ive trid generic intel automatic driver detection and installation wizard but the drivers it finds say theyre not compatible with my laptop: Acer Aspire V3-572 15.6-inch Notebook (Silver) (Intel Core i5-4210U 1.7GHz, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, DVDSM DL, WLAN, Bluetooth, Webcam, Integrated Graphics, Windows 8.1): Amazon.co.uk: Computers Accessories (this is the exact laptop i have)

originally it would say my display driver had crashed and recovered so i changed the timeout on the registry key: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/2665946 (i know its vista and win 7 but it worked).

Graphics driver problems

Last week there was an update and I started getting a message saying "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered". Now today there was another update and now it is blocking programs from accessing my graphics hardware. What the heck are you doing
to my computer Microsoft???? The error message reads "Application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware" and then the details will name with program (i.e. IMVU.exe or Chrome.exe) has been blocked. How do I fix this? If I can't fix this very soon,
I will be restoring my computer back to Windows 8.
