Windows 10: Application icon not showing properly in search

This issue is widespread and there's many posts on all manner of forums over the internet, and I've tired every single potential solution I can find to solve the issue but the problem persists. I'm trying to upload a photo here but it says failed every time no matter what the file type. Hi,

My name is Mohammed Shuaib, an Independent Advisor and I'm here to assist you with the issue of the app icon not showing properly. Please follow the below to fix the issue.

Fix #1

Step 1:

Go to the search box next to the Windows icon and type CMD

Step 2:

Then right-click on Command Prompt and select Run As Administrator

Step 3:

Type sfc /scannow & press enter

Step 4:

Once the above completes then type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth & press enter

Step 5:

After the completes type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth & press enter

Step 6:

Restart the PC

Let me know the status after performing the above.

Search Box Reduced to Magnifying Glass Icon

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the settings to show the search icon.

  Right click on the search bar
  
• 
  Click on search
  
• 
  Check show search icon

I am unable to view the application icons as well as microsoft office in the start though it is installed.

on second user it is working properly. Please solve this issue
