Windows 10: Applications do not start with windows 10

Hello,

I've recently run into an issue that started out of the blue - most applications do not start with the startup of windows 10. I've checked "Task Manager" if these applications are enabled to run at the startup of windows (which they do, while some are not even on the list), and checked if the applications themselves have "Start with windows" enabled, which they all did.

I went ahead and disabled them all, both on application list and task manager, just so I could re-enable them, hoping that would be a fix, but with no luck.

Please help me out - major programs do not start (such as Spotify, Discord, Battle.net, Steam, etc.). I have windows 10 Pro 64x, freshly reinstalled roughly 4 months ago.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Start Bar not working after update install in Windows 10


Hi, tried as you suggest. It starts and says Checking application registration... and the green progress bar just goes on and on (let it run for over two hours) and never gets to the next step. Any other suggestions?
