Windows 10: Applications/Event Viewer/Device Manager crashing immediately without error message. Please...

Since about 2 days ago, select applications on my computer become unresponsive and then crash immediately after I open them.

Chrome, Steam, Battle.net, Word all are working just fine,but when I try to open a game it simply becomes unresponsive after a few secondsthen closes. The same thing happens with my Notepad, with Device Manager andEvent Viewer, and on a lot of other desktop apps. I even tried to do a"fresh start" clean re-install of windows, but when I tried to startit, the settings window became unresponsive and eventually closed without amessage or anything.


I've been trying a ton of different memory/disk/computerscans chkdsk, /scannnow, DISM and nothing has returned any errors. I evenbooted a memory test from USB that said there were no errors.


Nothing has changed with my hardware since some thingsstopped working, and the Windows update I got today didn't fix anything. I'm ata loss. Please let me know if you've ever experienced something like this or ifyou have any suggestions.

Error in Event Viewer

As you have mentioned, you have performed a repair installation on the computer and you see Event 508, 510 and 533 in Event Viewer.



I would like to inform that if you see any critical error in Event Viewer, please share the event logs with us to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps. Please follow the steps mentioned below to share the event logs:

1. Press Windows + X from the keyboard, select
   Event Viewer.
   
2. Expand Windows Logs from the left pane and select
   Applications.
   
3. Click Filter Current Log from extreme right pane. Then in the new windows check the box beside
   Error and click OK.
   
4. Now, look for a critical Error in the list and note down the message/information from the
   General Tab in the lower section.

Error in event viewer

Hi

I keep geting the following in the Event viewer ,
The description for Event ID (4) in source ( SuperProServer ) cannot be found . the local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display message from a remote computer . You may be able to use /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description . The following information is part of the event, The event log file is corrupt .

has anyone any ideas has to what this means .

ATi Tool error in Event Viewer

I uninstalled ATI Tool about a month ago, yet there are still ATI Tool related error messages sprinkled throughout my Event Viewer. This is what the error is:

"The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
ATITool"

Why is it there? Has ATI Tool not uninstalled correctly? *Bang Head :banghead:

Help please.
