    Apps, Games, and Other Software Tabbing Out?


    This has been happening for so long and I'm starting to get really frustrated with it. Basically, when I'm doing something that's more than just web browsing, it will occasionally tab out like someone pressed alt+tab. I don't press anything, it just kinda happens sometimes. It'll even happen while I'm watching YouTube. I will be watching the video and then the taskbar suddenly appears over the bottom of the video.

    When I'm playing a game like Minecraft, it'll occasionally just disappear and I'll have to click on the icon in the taskbar to bring the game back. There's nothing that seems to trigger it specifically and I can go for a while without issue and then it'll suddenly be back and happen a lot.

    Is there anything specific I can try to get rid of this issue? It's incredibly frustrating, especially when it happens in a game like Rainbow Six Siege.

    Missing apps: Store, People, Photos, Games & Camera on upgrading to 10

    Thanks for replying spunk. That's the 'alphabetical' list I was referring to, none of these apps are in that 'All apps' list. Any more suggestions?

    May I ask, what exactly does such a routine have in mind - why look at tabs 1, then 2, then quickly close the app?

    Need to fix XBOX game dvr or suggestions for a recording software just like xbox game dvr

    If you were able to record a game video using the Game DVR before, there can be software conflicts that may have caused the issue. We suggest that you reset your apps to resolve this.

    To reset your apps, follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows + R on the keyboard.Type msconfig, and then click OK.
    • On the General tab, click the Normal Startup, and then click OK.
    • When you are prompted to restart the computer, click Restart.
    If the issue persist, we recommend that you perform a clean boot to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs.
    This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows 10.
