Windows 10: Apps/games stop downloading when tabbing out of Windows store.

Hey all,

I hope this is a simple one and is just me being a daft bugger, but when trying to downlaod something via the windows 10 store, if I tab out or switch to my primory moniter to leave me game on to download in the background, within a few seconds it'll throw back an error, no error code or anything it just stops downloading.

I can resume to download and it'll pick up where it left off, but the second I go back to doing anything else on my primery moniter it stops downloading again.

Is this a bug? Or just something daft I'm doing wrong?

Windows 10 Apps from the store wont download

Hi Sumon,

Sorry for the delay in response.

• Do you face this issue only with these apps?
• Did you try downloading other apps?
• Did you try stopping these apps and then downloading it again?

We would suggest you to try the steps mentioned in the link

• Type troubleshooting in the search
  box and hit Enter.
• Click View all from the left pane and select Windows store apps.
• Follow the on-screen instructions and check.

If the steps don't work try these steps:

Try to reset the Windows store and check.

• Press Win + R on the keyboard to open run Window.
• Type wsreset.exe to reset the Windows store cache.

I could not download a game that I have purchased from Windows 10 App Store

  Have you tried downloading any other game or app from Windows store?

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
