Aftera windows upgrade mid march 2020 I no linger have a vertical apps list but do have it selected in the setting. Instead I have to go to the top and select show apps and then they appear very much as that did in the vertical list but instead they are on the right laid out as sort of a grid

    :)

    Hi wiguy4000

Is your Start Menu set to full screen?

Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

    Go to Personalization - Start

Make sure 'Use Full Screen Start' is not ticked

Then check if your Start Menu is back to normal
