Windows 10: Apps not working following Windows update

Recently, every time I permit a Windows 10 update (twice in the last few days), non-Windows apps stop working. I can then sometimes get the apps running by uninstalling and reinstalling. This is just the latest in a long and ever-growing list of incidents since Windows 10 rollout that have transformed me from a content Windows user for over twenty years to someone who can't wait do ditch Windows altogether and move to another more reliable operating system as soon as my hardware requires replacement. Windows 10 causes me nothing but problems. Can you foresee a time in the near future when Windows 10 finally attracts more praise than criticism? Is there light at the end of the tunnel? I have asked agents to direct me to means to permanently disable updates but I have only ever been directed to temporary disablement. Is there yet a permanent disablement feature?

As the issue is particular to the App, I suggest you to uninstall and re-install the App and check for status. Follow the steps below:

• Right click on the App and select Uninstall.
• Download and install the same from Windows Store.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.
