Windows 10: AppXDeploymentServer_7EFF7292-CCA0-0003-E676-FF7EA0CCD401.evtx

I updated recently windows 10 ver. 1803 build 17134.619.

My C/windows/temp is filling up with the following files.


C:\Windows\Temp\AppXPackaging_7EFF7292-CCA0-0003-FF77-FF7EA0CCD401.evtx

C:\Windows\Temp\AppXDeploymentServer_7EFF7292-CCA0-0003-FF77-FF7EA0CCD401.evtx

C:\Windows\Temp\AppxErrorReport_7EFF7292-CCA0-0001-6877-FF7EA0CCD401.txt


I delete them but they keel coming back every few seconds.

Can anyone help?

Windows Media Player Won't Open EVTX File

EVTX is a type of Event log export. Can you please cross check the type of file you are trying to play?

I suggest you to use Open source Software like VLC which can play most of the files.

I have the same issue, although my install was a clean one, not an upgrade. Tried various fixes posted in different threads without result.

I tried:

• Get-AppxPackage -allusers | foreach {Add-AppxPackage -register "$($_.InstallLocation)\appxmanifest.xml" -DisableDevelopmentMode}

but it returns a long list of errors.

Copying a random one from the event viewer:
