That would also interest me too Cliff, as we both know Macrium Reflect uses this method, and it works real well. And if its over your head....then its WAY over my head. But still would be interested in how it might be done. *Smile

Just so you know, I did install Ubuntu 15.04 using rufus on to a 3.0 flash memory drive, and it booted right up!!! no problems with graphics card. I wanted to see if their was a big difference in 2.0 and 3.0 flash drives anyhow. Was faster booting. *Smile

I have 15.10 running a VM, for daily use alongside of Win10, and on a USB for emergencies, such as malware and rootkit cleanup, deleting undeletable files & folders and such. If it can't be done inside of Windows using 7Zip, I use Ubuntu Live session.

    With your specs:
    OS Windows10Pro / Win10Pro on 2nd computer
    CPU Intel I7-4770 @340GHz
    Motherboard MS-7826 (Kaili) MSI
    Memory 32GB DDR3 PC3-12800
Graphics Card Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 Ti

You could run a few of them at the same time probably*chuckle and since you're running Win10pro you have Hyper-V. There are tutorials here for that.

I doubt Ubuntu will help since Linux Mint is nothing more than a customized Ubuntu. If you want to try something else it should either be Debian (Ubuntu and thus Linux Mint are a based on Debian though) or something completely different like Fedora.

Well you missed one of my posts then, as I did install Ubuntu 15.04 on a flash drive, and I booted into Ubuntu with no graphic card problems at all. Only Linux Mint gives me problems with my graphics card.

Welcome to the Tenforums. Many of us running Linux and Windows side by side.
OS is just a tool to solve computing environment problems. Tools will change and evolving into something different as we march into the future. Don't married into one environment only! Select the right tool for your project!

PS: Nokia should've kept making Lumias. *Sad

I've accidentally dabbled in Linux and OSX, okay, even Android and IOS, we all make mistakes.
