Windows 10: Are Microsoft Defender monthly Security Intelligence updates cumulative?

hi,I'm managing a range of totally isolated Win10 Enterprise servers used in Industrial Control. I'm setting up manual patching, but I need to understand if to get fully up to date I need to run in every monthly patch since last many months or I can just use the latest Platform update then the latest Security Intelligence update files? The gap is sadly over a year...Any help is very much appreciated all!

Windows update give me the following error: "Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 (Version 1.323.1916.0) - Error 0x80010108". I have tried some suggestions (see

here) for the same error but different version of the update, but it didn't help.

Any help?

i try to configure VDI update for windows defender..the definition file was unpack to file server ..i set the folder security to everyone. but the update still failed.

Have the monthly security update iso's been discontinued?

Long story, short version:

• Most updates for Win10 are cumulative so you don't need an ISO, just make sure the most recent Cumulative Update for Win10 (e.g., KB3200970) is installed.
  
• The monthly security and quality rollups (AKA Security Monthly Quality Rollups) for Win8.1 & Win7 which began in October 2016 are also cumulative so you don't need an ISO - just make sure the most recent Security Monthly Quality Rollup (e.g., KB3197874;
  KB3197868) is installed.
  
• Ditto for the Security and Quality Rollups for various flavors of .NET Framework.
  
• Extended Support (and updates) for Vista SP2 ends on 11 April 2017 so (apparently) MS isn't bothering with Rollups for Vista (even though Vista-specific .NET Framework rollups will be offered).
