    Hello everybody

    I have a question about my computer. About seven years ago I built a computer from a local store. Some of its specs include:


    • MSI M/B Intel Z87-GD65 Gaming A/L/V (1150)
    • Intel CPU Core i7-4770K 3.5 GHz (1150)
    • EVGA Video NVIDIA GeForce GTX660 Ti 2048MB GDDR5
    • Kingston DDR3 32GB (4x 8GB) 1600MHz PC3-12800 HyperX Beast

    About 3 years ago the video card started to fail, so I replaced it with a GTX 970.

    Now the GTX 970 is starting to show its age, and some highly demanding games basically overwhelm it, so I am thinking in replacing it once again. My question is, considering the aforementioned components, would my computer be compatible with a RTX 2070 or an RTX 2080? What are the conditions that determine whether those videocards are compatible or not?
