    Hi all

I recently moved back to Windows after using Macs for 20 years (can't believe it but I love Windows again!). One BIG thing I miss and have not found a way to replace are 4 keyboard shortcut for text/document manipulation that I used hundreds of times a day...

    • Command–Left Arrow: Move the insertion point to the beginning of the current line. --> ?
    • Command–Right Arrow: Move the insertion point to the end of the current line. --> ?
    • Option–Left Arrow: Move the insertion point to the beginning of the previous word. --> ?
    • Option–Right Arrow: Move the insertion point to the end of the next word. --> ?

Can someone help me here? Do these shortcuts exist on Windows, and if not is there another way I could make this work?

    Thanks!

    Windows 10 commands/shortcuts/env. var.

    Keyboard shortcuts to open programs:

Create a shortcut on the desktop to whatever program you want. Right click -> Properties and fill in the field there. Sadly the shortcut needs to remain on the desktop, but you can hide it.

Fun fact: If you had keyboard shortcuts for programs pinned to your Windows 7 start menu, those shortcuts still work when you update to Windows 10.
