Windows 10: Ark custom Servers

Hey everyone!


So a while back I was having some issues getting a customized server for Ark up and running. I could get a regular one going on the pc for all of my friends but there wasnt enough challenge and it was difficult for us to find a top level dino.


So I did alot of digging and came up only with questions and no answers. If you purchased from the Microsoft store then you know what I'm talking about.


After 2 days of coming up empty handed I found a glimmer of hope and got all my questions answered. So let me help you out here:


(Please note this is only for PC run Servers)


Step 1: Unlocking hidden folders and viewing program extensions.


Click your windows button at the bottom left corner and search hidden folders. Navigate there and click to view hidden folders, scroll down a bit and click to view file extensions.


Step 2: Navigate to your user data.

Open up your hard drive that your main data is saved to, go to users and through your user account. Find your appdata and navigate through the 3 options. You are looking for a folder labeled Packages. Once you found it, access it and go to studiowildcard folders. Right click to view properties and search for the biggest folder. Navigate in that one, find your saved data and pull up your configurations.


Step 3: Making your changes

Keep everything as close to the original data as possible with the exception of the changes you want to make. Make your changes and save them. After this, right click the configuration files and make it a read only so the game can not reset your changes.


You will need to restart the game each time you turn off the server but its a small price to pay.

Run 2 ark servers same PC for xbox

I bought the game Ark survival for both the xbox and my PC. I have two silver accounts on top of my main gold account. I run one ark on my PC and play on my xbox. I would like to run a cluster or at least a second server on my PC. So far I have not found
an answer on my own. Is there a way for me to run two windows 10 crossplay xbox ark servers on one PC ? Also , is there any ETA when our PC ark servers will show up on the xbox ark server lists ?

I prefer modded ark Cuz vanilla ark sucks lol. Is why I added more customers building pieces because what I love the most is building.
