Windows 10: Ark Survival Evolved WONT START!

Okay, so I downloaded Ark onto my laptop the other day. Its an xbox play anywhere so I didn't buy it from my laptop but I bought it on my xbox. it works flawlessly on my xbox but I wanna play my PC version but it will not start, when I start it up, it shows the title then cuts right back off. I've tried installing a random app and then launching, does the same thing. Please, does anyone know what to do?


Any help would be greatly appreciated.


p.s. is it my laptop which wont allow it? my laptop is just a 2013 Toshiba.

xbox on windows10 wont open ark survival evolved

the Xbox app on my windows10 laptop wont lunch certain games when i try to open a small game like bubble witch 3 saga it opend but when i try to open a larger game mainly ark survival evolved it would breifly show the start up screen then just disapear
and send me back to the Xbox app i am unsure as to why this is happaning as my ark game has no mods installed and was working only a couple of days ago

 

ARk: Survival Evolved still increasing?

ARK: Survival Evolved, a game. IM downloading from the Microsoft store and i'm using a laptop downloading through WIFI

Update: Its now 80.43GB of 80.43GB, won't stop downloading
